Objectives
The EIPA, European Institute of Public Administration, organises a Seminar on EU procedural guarantees.
The meaning and scope of proceedural guarantees for suspects and accused persons in criminal proceedings are increasingly brought to the attention of the CJEU.
This seminar aims to provide an update on that CJEU case-law and to make legal practitioners aware of latest developments which are especially relevant in daily legal practice.
Target
Mainly legal practitioners dealing with cross-border cases in criminal matters, but also anyone strongly interested in the AFSJ area.
Approach
Analysis of all the most recent and rlevant judgments, with a focus on their practical implications.
