The European Criminal Law Academic Network is proud to announce the 2020-2021 edition of the ECLAN PhD Seminar on " The Significance of EU Criminal Law in the 21st Century: The Need for Further Harmonisation or New Criminal Policy?". This year's seminar is organised by the Faculty of Law of the University of Vilnius and it will be held online on MS Teams on 28-29 January 2021. It will represent an opportunity to reflect on the development of EU criminal law over the last century and to discuss challenges ahead.

The ECLAN PhD seminar provides a friendly environment in which PhD candidates can gain experience in presenting their research, learn from each other’s research and develop contacts with other researchers in their field. This PhD seminar aims to bring together PhD candidates working in the field of EU criminal law and holding a degree in law, political science or international studies.
