The Spring conference in Rome will start on Friday 17 April with a reception at 7.30pm in the beautiful Chiostro del Bramante.
The conference will be held at the Residenza Di Ripetta. Saturday 18 April registration will be open from 8.45am on and we will start at 9.30am.
The main topic will be the European Public Prosecutor's Office. There will be 2 panel discussions in the morning: a panel on the ‘EPPO at the starting point and the role of defence’ and a panel on ‘Detention conditions in the EU (FRA Report)’.
After lunch there will be a panel on ‘ne bis in idem principle’ also in the light of the EPPO system.
The conference will conclude with an update on relevant developments in Europe and on ECBA’s activities. The conference is due to end around 4.30pm.
As always, an optional dinner has been organised, starting at 8pm at the Di Ripetta in the garden (if weather permits). The cost of the dinner (per person) is 63 GBP or 75 Euros. Guests are welcome. A detailed programme will be available soon.
