The United Kingdom and its Protocol 36 Opt-Out: Is Police and Judicial Cooperation in Criminal Matters within the EU Losing Momentum?

This article  focuses on  the so-called  "Proptocol 36 opt-out " that was granted  to the UK during the Lisbon negociations. More precisely, it invesigates  what is "Protocol 36", and  from what precisely it  does afford and opt-out.
