EPPO and the principle of subsidiarity
This volume contains articles that treat the different legal and criminal policy aspects of the proposal for a European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO). The articles deal with, for instance, general questions in respect of subsidiarity and functionality, questions relating to the jurisdiction of the EPPO and to the principle of ne bis in idem, questions concerning admissibility of evidence and questions concerning suspects’ rights and the independence of the EPPO. The authors of the volume are members of, or otherwise connected to, the European Criminal Policy Initiative.
