ECLAN Newsletter is out!
The latest edition of the ECLAN Newsletter is now available, and summarizes the developments that took place in the field of EU Criminal Law between July 2020 and December 2020.
What are the most important developments?
In this Newsletter, you will find information about new proposals of EU legislation in the field of criminal law as well as proposals of EU legal instruments currently being discussed. The adoption of the new Regulation concerning investigations conducted by the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) as regards cooperation with the EPPO is also discussed in this edition of the Newsletter. The EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA) signed on 30 December 2020 will be further analyzed in the next edition of the Newsletter.
Several judgments of the Court of Justice of the EU are reported, including judgments on the European arrest warrant (EAW), the interpretation of the Directive on the European investigation order (EIO) and the enforcement of victims' rights.
As in previous editions, it encompasses information on publications and upcoming events relevant to EU criminal law, including online events. Please note that due to the global pandemic, physical events may be subject to changes. Keep up to date on our website and social networks.
