Communication from the Commission to the European Parliament, the Council – Delivering an area of freedom, security and justice for Europe’s citizens – Action Plan mplementing the Stockholm Programme

This communication is the first step of the procedure which should lead to the adoption by the JHA Council in June of the Action Plan on the Stockholm Programme, which was adopted by the European Council in December 2009. The Stockholm Programme sets the priorities for the EU for the next 5 years in the sector “Freedom, Security and Justice”. The Action Plan proposed by the Commission defines the concrete initiative to be taken, such as communications or legislative instruments to be tabled.
