European Criminal Law and its Impact on National Legal Orders

We wish to invite scholars and practising lawyers who are involved in Comparative and European Criminal Law and Criminal Justice to make presentations. More specifically, we would like to use the Conference as an opportunity and forum for discussion and exchange of views on the impact of European criminal law on national legal orders. First, we would like to focus attention on the implementation of the European Union acquis into the national legal orders of the Member States in theory and practice. Secondly, we wish to concentrate on the standards adopted within the Council of Europe, with a view to further comparative study. Contributions may be published in the post –conference proceedings.

The deadline for submission of proposals and registration forms for the Conference is 22nd of April, 2018. The registration fee is 65 Euros (approx. 270 Polish złotych), and this will cover the conference materials, the coffee-breaks, two lunches and evening dinner on the first day of the Conference. The Conference fee is payable until 30 of April 2018. Please, transfer the registration fee to the following bank account, indicating in the transfer title: the name, surname of the participant and annotation “European penology”.
